How does payment work?
We require a 10% deposit of your total estimated cost to be paid at least one week before your trip. The rest of your payment is due at the end of your trip and will be collected at that time. Your deposit is refundable up to a week before your trip. Cost varies greatly based on your tailored itinerary, contact us for quotes.
Is everything included in your total estimated cost?
Throughout your time with us, we may have to adjust our activities and purchases to best suit your travel needs. Because of this, your final total may change because of certain expenses being added or removed. We try to be as accurate as possible and will make sure any additional costs are approved by our guests before any transactions take place.
Can you take care of flights and hotel bookings?
We are more than happy to use our experience to recommend the best flights and hotels and to assist in your booking process. Our goal is for your vacation to be as stress free as possible. Please let us know how we can help.
How many people can you accomidate?
Our largest vehicle, a 2018 Mercedes Sprinter Van, fits a total of 11 people. If you have a larger group, we can do our best to accommodate you with two vehicles and guides, but, it is contingent on availability.
Can I make changes to the itinerary before or during the trip?
Yes! In fact, we encourage you to tell us exactly what you want and how you are are feeling at all times so we can adjust our itinerary accordingly. We are experts at making changes with a moments notice and want to make sure your tour is exactly what you want.
A member of our party is disabled or requires special accomodations, can you accommodate our group?
This is something that is very important to us. We want to make sure everyone is as comfortable as they can be and we will make any adjustments we can to assist your group ensuring that everyone is relaxed, secure, and having an ideal experience. Just let us know in advance and we will make sure our team is as prepared as possible to make your trip perfect for everyone.
How is The Tailored Traveler different from other agencies and tour companies?
Not only do we bring experience and local knowledge to the table by providing your own personal host, but we go into every guest interaction knowing that every traveler is different. We will never give the exact same tour twice, we use our expertise to tailor your tour based on a multitude of factors including weather, events, time of year, and most importantly, your preferences.
Is our TT Host always with us?
We will be there during all pre-planned times and often longer, but, your host will not be with you 24/7. In addition, we use other companies for popular attractions such as everglades tours and boat trips and often your Host will pass you on to a guide who specializes in that area. Rest assured, we will be working to make your trip perfect, even when we are not with you and will be a call or text away at all times.
